Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,846 to $2,041 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title TRAVEL-RN - PCU (Progressive Care Unit) City/State: Anchorage, Alaska Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Days Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: 02/03/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit responsible for providing high-level care to post-surgical and telemetry patients. Nurses are expected to be adaptable and efficient in a dynamic clinical environment. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care and supervision of nursing support staff. Conduct Q4 full assessments and vital signs monitoring. Ambulate post-surgical patients and manage NIH/stroke care. Implement CIWA protocols and conduct cardiac monitoring. Administer electrolyte replacements and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements: ACLS and BLS certifications required. Proficiency in IVs/phlebotomy, NG tubes, tracheostomy care, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and non-titratable drips. Experience in cardiac and neuro care preferred. Ability to work in a team and adapt quickly to changing patient needs. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Mandatory Part I Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) Core Mandatory Part III PCU
