We are hiring for Medical Laboratory Scientist positions in the Clinical Laboratory Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! • Full time, 1.0 FTE, Evening Shift, 40 Hours Per Week. • Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical Lab Science or equivalent educ/experience - Education and training equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science with sufficient clinical laboratory experience on human specimens to meet Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification requirements through a nationally accrediting agency, e.g. American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT). - National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire. Or - National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire. Or - National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts within 1 year of hire. Or - National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists within 1 year of hire.
