Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Endoscopy - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy Specialty: Endoscopy Job ID: 3185509 Facility: Providence Alaska Medical Center Location: 3200 Providence Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508 Contract Details: - Start Date: 03/30/2026 (ASAP start preferred) - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4x10 Days (07:00 AM – 05:00 PM) - Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks - On-Call: Yes – Every 5th weekend - Block Schedule: Yes - Locals Accepted: No (must live 50 miles from facility) Job Responsibilities: - Provide RN care across inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings - Assist and circulate during procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, Bronchoscopy, and ION - Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation and MAC anesthesia - Perform post-procedure recovery, airway management, and specimen handling - Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including anesthesia, radiology, respiratory, and pharmacy Required Skills & Qualifications: - Active Alaska RN license (strongly preferred for auto-offer) - BLS – required - ACLS, PALS, SGNA certification – preferred - Experience: Minimum 1 year Endoscopy RN experience - Required Skills: EUS, EBUS, ERCP, ION, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy - Charting: EPIC experience preferred - First-Time Travelers: Accepted Unit & Facility Highlights: - Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital - Magnet Facility | Level II Trauma - Total Staffed Beds: 407 - Patient Population: Neonates through Geriatrics - Daily Census: ~15 patients - Equipment: FUJI Scopes, ERBE, ION, Ultrasound - Scrubs: Provided - Parking: Free K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
