to find a qualified OR RN in Anchorage, Alaska, 99508! Job Title:
Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have
valid RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR
preferred Must-Have: Experience in trauma level II and travel
experience Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will
provide care in the operating room setting. The assignment length
is 13 weeks. Shifts are scheduled for three 12-hour days. Shift
start times may vary. Candidates must have a minimum of two years
of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted.
Certifications in BLS are required, with ACLS and CNOR preferred.
Call coverage is required, limited to coverage for any call-offs.
Weekend shifts will be required. Floating to like units may occur
as needed. Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must
reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Requests for time off
will be evaluated individually upon offer. Guaranteed hours are a
minimum of 60 hours every two weeks. Travelers may be called off
for one 12-hour shift per two weeks. The facility is an acute care
hospital with a total of 407 staffed beds. The facility has
achieved Magnet status and is a Level II trauma center. Daily
census is approximately 40 patients. Patient populations include
neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The unit supports a variety of surgical procedures including
trauma, cancer, orthopedic, neurologic, gynecologic, and vascular
surgeries. Specific skills in scrubbing for various surgical
procedures are essential. Travelers must be willing to work during
major holidays. All references must be supervisory, covering the
last three years of employment in a comparable specialty or
