Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Operating
Room (OR) Registered Nurse – Alaska Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts; shift times
vary between 0645-1915 or 0900-2130 Highlights: 13-week assignment

patient population including trauma, oncology, pediatrics, and
complex surgical specialties Utilize Epic charting system in a
407-bed acute care hospital with 18 operating rooms Exposure to
advanced surgical technology including XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor
Robot Spine systems Comprehensive orientation with 40 hours of
onboarding and robust interdisciplinary support Guaranteed 60 hours
per two-week period with minimal call-off risk Requirements: Active
Alaska RN license (must be in hand prior to offer acceptance;
pending licenses accepted for submission) Minimum 2 years of recent
OR nursing experience required Previous travel nursing experience
required; first-time travelers not accepted BLS certification
required; ACLS and CNOR strongly preferred Epic charting system
experience required Level II Trauma experience required; Level I
Trauma experience preferred Broad surgical specialty experience
including general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, gynecology, urology,
vascular, and pediatric surgeries Must reside at least 50 miles
from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Minimum of 2
supervisory references covering at least 1 year of comparable OR
experience within the last 3 years Hepatitis B vaccination required
(titers or declination not accepted) Willingness to work 2 out of 3
major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Flexibility to
float within scope to similar units as needed and provide limited
