ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week assignment in high acuity step down/progressive care unit • Patient ratio of 4:1 • 19-bed unit located on 4th floor of main hospital building • Weekend requirements: every other weekend • No on-call requirements • Must have 1 year of telemetry experience and 1 year of step down experience • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Alaska RN license required at time of submission (no temporary licenses accepted) • AK RN fingerprints must be completed during onboarding • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Work with bedside monitors and standard progressive care equipment • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs • Float to other telemetry units and medical units as needed • Positive attitude with strong work ethic essential • Work alongside day shift team of 6 RNs including charge nurse and 2 CNAs Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 19-bed high acuity step down/progressive care unit that provides specialized monitoring and care for patients requiring close observation.
