Endo Tech / GI Tech Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,360 to $1,520 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $34.00 - $38.00/Hourly. Summary: The Gastrointestinal (GI) / Endoscopy Technician assists physicians and nursing staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. This role is responsible for preparing patients and procedure rooms, maintaining endoscopic equipment, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and sterile environment throughout procedures. Locals not accepted Responsibilities: Prepare endoscopy procedure rooms with required instruments, equipment, and supplies. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, etc.). Position and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes and accessories according to infection control guidelines. Perform high-level disinfection and maintain reprocessing documentation. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Endoscopy Technician certification (SGNA, CFER, or equivalent) preferred, Locals not accepted.
