Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity –
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse – Alaska Start Date: February
23, 2026 Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided
to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 Days (shift times vary:
either 0645-1915 or 0900-2130); weekend coverage required; on-call
for coverage as needed Highlights: 13-week assignment at a 407-bed
Magnet-designated acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center
Diverse surgical case mix including general, trauma, orthopedic,
neurosurgical, ENT, vascular, gynecological, urological, pediatric,
and robotic-assisted procedures Epic charting system with
comprehensive interdisciplinary support including radiology,
pharmacy, lift teams, and interpretation services Cutting-edge
technology including da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mazor Robotic
Spine System, and Stealth navigation Guaranteed 60 hours per
two-week period; free parking provided 40-hour orientation to
ensure successful onboarding Requirements: Active Alaska RN license
in hand (pending licenses accepted for submission but must be
active prior to offer) Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
required Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time
travelers not accepted BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR
preferred Epic charting experience required Level II Trauma
experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
Comprehensive OR skills across multiple specialties including
scrubbing for general, trauma, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, vascular,
and robotic surgeries Permanent address must be at least 50 miles
from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Minimum of 2
supervisory references covering at least 1 year of comparable OR
experience within the last 3 years Must be willing to work 2 out of
3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Hepatitis B
vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted) Why It's
