/n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Physical
Therapist for an outpatient assignment, requiring at least 1 year
of recent experience and BLS certification. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Position is based in an outpatient setting
with coverage also in acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF)
as needed - Therapy department sees patients of all ages with
various diagnoses, including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor,
and pediatrics - Schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts per
week, typically 8:30 am to 5:00 pm - Weekend work is required - No
on-call is required for this position - Floating within scope to
cover outpatient, acute care, and SNF is required - Uses Epic for
charting - Facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Critical Access
Hospital - Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before
returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the
facility - All travelers are expected to float between facilities
within the state as needed - Minimal to no requested time off (RTO)
is allowed; significant RTO may hinder consideration - Scrub color
is flexible; any color or business casual attire is acceptable -
First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Free parking is
available onsite - Facility-provided housing (typically 1-bedroom
apartments) and a rental vehicle are available for travelers only;
no pets allowed - Vehicle use is restricted to the traveler and
limited to a 30-mile radius from the facility /n /n Requirements/n
- Current BLS certification required - Active Alaska PT license
required (license required if applicable) - Minimum 1 year of
recent experience in physical therapy - Experience with a variety
of patient populations, including pediatrics and adults - Epic
charting experience is required - Must provide a valid driver's
license and proof of insurance for vehicle use /n Benefits/n - High
