ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week assignment duration • Work on high acuity step-down unit/progressive care unit • Patient ratio of 4:1 • Work every other weekend • No on-call requirements • 19-bed unit with bedside monitors • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Float to other telemetry units and medical floors as needed • Must have 1 year of telemetry experience and 1 year of step-down experience required • Required certifications: Alaska RN license (permanent, no temporary licenses accepted), ACLS, and BLS • Alaska RN fingerprints must be completed during onboarding • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs • Positive attitude with strong work ethic preferred • Work alongside 6 RNs including charge nurse and 2 CNAs on day shift Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 19-bed high acuity step-down unit that provides progressive care services. The facility utilizes modern bedside monitoring equipment and EPIC electronic medical records to ensure comprehensive patient care.
