Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - NRP Must-Have: Medsurg experience Description: Responsible for providing care in the Labor and Delivery setting. Must be willing to float to ICU and MedSurg as needed. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 in Labor and Delivery and 2:1 in couplet care. The facility experiences an average of 120 births per year. Staff are expected to adhere to all protocols and standards of care.
