Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,534 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC Must-Have: Prior Emergency Department experience, Stroke and STEMI experience preferred Description: Facility consists of 20 headwall beds and 4 hall beds. Staff includes Charge RNs, Flow Coordinators, RNs, Emergency Department Technicians, and Unit Secretaries. Day Shift typically has 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 1 Technician, and 1 Unit Secretary. Mid Shift staffing varies. Night Shift typically has 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 1 Technician, and 1 Unit Secretary. Patient ratios are 4:1 except for low acuity cases (ESI 4 & 5), where ratios can be 6:1. Equipment includes Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I-Stat, EPOC, and GE monitors. Electronic Medical Record system used is EPIC. Flexibility, transparency, a positive attitude, and teamwork are essential traits for success in this role. Typical procedures performed include splinting and administering breathing treatments.
