to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Soldotna, Alaska, 99669! Job
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Profession: RN
Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shift
Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 3 years of Med-Surg
background with critical thinking skills License: Active state RN
license Certifications: Heart Saver AED Certification, BLS
Certification (must be AHA) Must-Have: Experience with EPIC
charting Description: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing
care through the use of the nursing process. Applies the principles
of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital
policies and procedures. Adheres to the standards of nursing
practice. Utilizes Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations in the
unit. Completes a 3-day training for Meditech and OBIX, along with
unit-specific orientation. Completes Medication Testing once on
site, to be done within the first two weeks of employment. Follows
contract requirements for scheduling and may be on call as needed.
Maintains a nurse to patient ratio in accordance with national
standards. Dress code is scrubs, which will be provided. 5 Benefits
