Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Alaska Start Date: February 3, 2026 Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week guaranteed, night shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends Highlights: Fast-paced 20-bed Emergency Department with hall beds Patient ratios of 4:1 (or 6:1 for low acuity ESI 4 and 5 patients) EPIC EMR system with modern equipment including Lucas devices, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, and I-stat Stroke and STEMI patient population with trauma and pediatric cases Collaborative team environment with charge nurses, flow coordinators, ED techs, and ultrasound support Must hold active Alaska RN license at time of submission Requirements: Active Alaska RN license (required at submission) Prior Emergency Department nursing experience BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications Experience with stroke and STEMI protocols preferred Trauma and pediatric emergency experience highly desired Proficiency with splinting, breathing treatments, and emergency procedures Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dynamic 50-member Emergency Department team committed to providing exceptional emergency care in Alaska.
