ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work alternating day and night shifts with primary placement on one shift • Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends • Provide care for adult and geriatric patients • Float to PCU assignments in ICU may be required • Every other weekend coverage required • Work with patient diagnoses including CKD, ESRD, DMII, CHF, COPD, GIB, and post-operative patients • Manage long term ventilators and tracheostomies • Use Pyxis medication system and Cerner documentation system • Minimum 2 years of experience required (less may be considered based on experience) • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, CPI* • Navy blue scrubs required • Trauma Level II experience required • 24 hours of orientation provided • Must maintain Alaska nursing license prior to starting • Minimum 100-mile radius requirement applies Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a medical center providing comprehensive care services with specialized units including progressive care and intensive care.
