Relocation: Case By Case Basis What qualifications you will need: ·
Current nursing license in good standing · Associate’s Degree in
nursing required, bachelor’s preferred · Two to three years of Cath
Lab experience required · American Red Cross or American Heart
Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and
Certification · American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) Additional
Information: Shift times: 7a – 7:30p (12 hr shifts) Must have
experience – RN and AK lic required 3yr exp Cath or 5 yrs exp in
high acuity setting (eg. ICU, Exp Circulating, Monitoring and
Sedation medication (exp mixing sedation drips) No mapping exp
needed (performed by 3rd party company) Unit Beds/ rooms: 3 rooms,
average 4-6 procedures per day On Call Requirement: candidate must
be within 30 minutes. The facility would range 8-10 Days of Call in
a 4 week period. · You will be responsible for all testing and
therapeutics that takes place in the Cath lab. These procedures
include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations and/or
coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies,
interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions,
endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR)
procedures. · You will facilitate effective communication among
departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative
approach to patient care. Uses appropriate SBAR process for
hand-off communication. · You will assist the patient through all
aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation,
sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following
removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room. Manages emergent
cases. · You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient
records. Completes all paperwork associated with these procedures
and prepares tests for physician interpretation. · You will
demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function well
under stressful situations · You will collaborate with fellow
