Respiratory Care Practitioner - Cardiac Rehab - Providence

Respiratory Care Practitioner provides specialized respiratory
therapy services to pediatric patients in the NICU/PICU at
Providence Alaska Medical Center, adhering to prescribed medical
protocols and collaborating with healthcare teams. The role
requires national certification, pediatric respiratory therapy
experience, and involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating
respiratory care plans. This part-time position offers

patient-centered care. Description The Respiratory Therapist
provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by
Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies,
procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the
assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending
appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates
patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory
Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an
integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize,
coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively
collaborate with other members of the health care team. Providence

part-time, 0.75 FTE, 10-hr Day shifts, 30 hours per week. $5,000

Qualifications: Upon hire: National Registered Respiratory
Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care Or Upon hire:
National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for
Respiratory Care Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS -
American Heart Association 5 years experience in pediatrics
