Job Description:
Description Responsible for providing assistance and support for
clinical staff in the Operating Room. Serves as the central point
of contact for OR Clinical Staff, SPD, and General Stores. Assists
with location and transport of case carts. Troubleshoots instrument
problems. Able to recommend alternatives when desired
instrumentation is unavailable. Facilitates the instrument fast
turn-over process. Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments in the
Operating Room following recommended guidelines and provides
accurate documentation for this process. Assists O.R. Clinical
staff in obtaining necessary instrumentation and supplies for

qualifications: 2 years Experience as Sterile Processing Technician
or OR Scrub Technician. Upon hire: National Certified Registered
Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing
Association or Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and
Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile
Processing and Distribution or Upon hire: National Certified
Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association

for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
