Respiratory Care Practitioner - Providence Anchorage at
Providence Health and Services summary: The Respiratory Care
Practitioner provides respiratory therapy services primarily in
NICU/PICU settings, assessing patient respiratory status and
implementing prescribed therapies. They collaborate with healthcare
teams to customize and evaluate patient care plans while adhering
to professional standards and protocols. This role requires
certification, pediatric respiratory therapy experience, and offers
full-time and per diem opportunities at Providence Alaska Medical
Center in Anchorage, AK. Description The Respiratory Therapist
provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by
Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies,
procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the
assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending
appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates
patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory
Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an
integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize,
coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively
collaborate with other members of the health care team. We are

Center in Anchorage, AK! Full time, 9.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 36

Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory
Care upon hire, Or National Certified Respiratory Therapist -
National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire. National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS
- American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. 5 years
experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy. Preferred
Qualification: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care. Why Join

range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
