Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in
Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU
- Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating
- Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Registered Nurse - PCU
/n/n Job Details: /n • Alternating day and night shifts with
primary placement on one shift /n• 12-hour shifts with 1:3 patient
ratios for days, nights, and weekends /n• Every other weekend
coverage required /n• May float to PCU assignments in the ICU as
needed /n• 24 hours of orientation provided /n• Care for adult and
geriatric patients with diagnoses including CKD, ESRD, DMII, CHF,
COPD, GIB, and post-operative conditions /n• Manage patients with
long-term ventilators and tracheostomies /n• Use Pyxis medication
system and Cerner documentation system /n• Required certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI /n• Navy blue scrubs required /n• Trauma
Level II experience required /n• 2 years of nursing experience
required (may consider less based on experience) /n• First-time
travelers accepted /n• Alaska nursing license required prior to
start /n• Must live minimum 100 miles from facility /n• Modules
completed onsite during orientation (4-5 hours, billable) /n/n

with modern equipment including Pyxis medication systems and Cerner
documentation, offering interdisciplinary support services such as
IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid
