Qualifications: - Master' s Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology - Current Alaska SLP license (or be eligible for same). Role Overview: PediaStaff is seeking a skilled and passionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. Job Details: - FMLA leave starting at the end of November - 3-6 month contract with possibility of extension - Kids are birth-18, but most patients are between the ages of 3-13 - Some common dx include emotional regulation, sensory disorders, ASD, syndromes and developmental delays - If you are interested in and/or have experience with dyslexia and learning disabilities, they' d welcome those applicants - In-person only Key Responsibilities: - Conducting evaluations to assess each child' s unique communication strengths and weaknesses. - Creating plans that implement measurable, achievable, and functional goals. - Offering treatment to enhance communication abilities through various approaches. - Working in a comprehensive care team to address a child' s specific needs. - Informing parents and families about available treatment options and the importance of early intervention.
