Pay Information $2,238 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical/Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 hours AM or PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Active RN license required Certifications: NIH BLS required Must-Have: - Must have an active RN license - Basic Med Surg level bedside procedures experience - Outgoing and flexible personality Description: This position is for a medical surgical/oncology unit. The unit typically has a bed capacity of 28. Staff includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, and patient care technicians, with staffing dependent on patient census. Patient ratios are typically 1:6. Equipment used includes Alaris pumps and Pyxis. The electronic medical record system utilized is Epic. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Weekend requirements are dependent on patient needs, with no set requirements. Candidates must possess NIH BLS certification. Candidates with chemo experience and ACLS certification will be given priority. Typical procedures performed are at a basic Med Surg level. The expected characteristics for the candidate include an outgoing and flexible personality.
