position is for a medical surgical/oncology unit. The unit
typically has a bed capacity of 28. Staff includes a charge nurse,
registered nurses, and patient care technicians, with staffing
dependent on patient census. Patient ratios are typically 1:6.
Equipment used includes Alaris pumps and Pyxis. The electronic
medical record system utilized is Epic. There are no on-call
requirements for this position. Weekend requirements are dependent
on patient needs, with no set requirements. Candidates must possess
NIH BLS certification. Candidates with chemo experience and ACLS
certification will be given priority. Typical procedures performed
are at a basic Med Surg level. The expected characteristics for the
candidate include an outgoing and flexible personality. Dress code
