Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC Must-Have: Prior Emergency Department Experience Stroke and STEMI Experience Description: The Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join our team. Candidates must have a valid RN license. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. The unit features 20 headwall beds and 4 hall beds. The emergency department staff consists of 50 professionals, including charge nurses, flow coordinators, RNs, ED techs, and ultrasound technicians. Patient ratios are generally 4:1, with a possibility of 6:1 during low acuity cases. Common equipment includes Lucas devices, Level 1 devices, Alaris IV pumps, I-STAT, EPOC, and GE monitors. Experience in trauma and pediatrics is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is flexible, transparent, positive, outgoing, efficient, and a team player. Typical duties include splinting and administering breathing treatments alongside standard ED RN responsibilities. Rotating weekends will be part of the schedule. This position is created to accommodate peak period staffing needs.
