qualified Endoscopy RN in Anchorage, Alaska, 99508! Pay Information
$2,863 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License:
Alaska RN license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS
preferred, PALS preferred, SGNA certification preferred Must-Have:
- Strong preference for Alaska RN license in hand - Skills in
airway management, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, endobronchial
ultrasound, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, conscious sedation
recovery, and specimen handling Description: This position requires
a Registered Nurse to work in the GI Lab. The nurse will
participate in various procedures, including endoscopic procedures.
The role involves working with a team to ensure patient safety and
effective care. Candidates must be willing to be on call every
fifth weekend. The patient care environment includes a diverse
range of patients, from neonates to geriatrics. Daily census
varies, and the nurse will manage multiple patient visits
throughout the day. Interdisciplinary support services are
available to assist with patient care needs. The nurse will be
required to conform to established protocols and procedures.
Candidates must have experience in patient ratios and a familiarity
with electronic charting systems. Willingness to work during major
holidays is also expected. References covering relevant employment
history will be required. This role provides an opportunity to make
