Pay Information $2,328 per week About The Position ID: 73471228 Shift: 19:00-07:30 Description: : Alaska RegionalNeed: RN (perm AK license is required for submission)Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30 AMUnit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Cost Center: 660Start: asapLength of Assignment:13 weeks Unit Information: Alaska Regional Hospital Location: Labor and Delivery Address: 2801 DeBarr Road Floor: 3rd Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 7 Number of Staff 4 night nurses on staff currently Shift for the Traveler Night Shift Type of staff: o Day Shift 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech o Night Shift 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech Patient Ratios 1:3 variable by census and acuity Type of equipment GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC EMR Epic and CPN connect On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Must have OR circulator experience Must have Labor and delivery experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD care Best personality Fit: Flexible, Cheerful, Positive, team player, quick learner, accountable, adaptable, mentor REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification, NRP,ACLS, BLS Floating Area(s): If needed would float to Mom-Baby unit Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provided royal blue scrubs (would change in the facility) Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. No elective pre 39 week deliveries, Pitocin Protocol, HTN and PP hemorrhage protocols, malignant hyperthermia protocols Weekends and On call.
