Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in
Alaska, requiring a current AK RN license and a minimum of 2 years
of Cath Lab experience. Responsibilities - Work in an acute
hospital's Cath Lab unit - Assignment duration is either 13 or 26
weeks, based on your preference - Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour
shifts (7:00 to 17:00) - On-call required 1 day per week and every
4th or 5th weekend - Must be available to work at least 1 Saturday
per month as part of normal shift schedule - Required to float
within scope to EP or Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed -
Travelers may float to other hospitals within the region as
required - Patient care uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required -
No block scheduling available - As a Cath Lab RN, you will
circulate and provide direct care for Cath Lab patients, including
supporting interventional procedures - Must be willing to float to
EP or IR departments as needed and to other affiliate hospitals
within the state - Travelers are expected to work two out of three
major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day -
Permanent staff may only return as travelers after a minimum
3-month break and must adhere to regional policies - All travelers
are required to complete hospital modules prior to start and
annually - Only Hepatitis B vaccination documentation is accepted
for compliance; titers or declinations are not allowed - Scrubs are
provided by the facility - Free parking is available Requirements -
Active Alaska RN license required (must be in hand for auto offer;
pending accepted until offer) - Current BLS and ACLS certifications
required - Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
required - Epic EMR experience required - Must live at least 50
miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted - Must
provide a minimum of 2 recent supervisory references covering 1
year within the specialty - Only candidates separated from prior
perm staff roles for at least 3 months are eligible - Must be able
to provide required documents for consideration (SSN, DOB,
