Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Description: Alaska Regional Hospital 13 Weeks Must have an active perm Alaska RN license to be submitted Unit Information: Number of Beds - 28 Number of Staff 12 Shift for the Traveler 12 hrs AM or PM Type of staff: Day Shift Dependent on census typically (1 Charge, 3 RN, 2 PCT) o Night Shift - Dependent on census typically (1 Charge, 3 RN, 2 PCT) Patient Ratios 1:6 Type of equipment Alaris Pump, Pyxis EMR Epic On Call Requirements: None Weekend Requirements: Dependent on needs. Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. NIH BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Chemo ACLS List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Basic Med Surg level bedside procedures REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: NIH BLS Floating Area(s): Med/Tele, Surgical Care Unit, Orthopedics Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Blue Scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Weekends and On call.
