- Location: Anchorage, AK 99508 (Alaska healthcare jobs) - Facility
Type: Stand-alone Ambulatory Surgery Center - Assignment Length: 13
weeks (Oct 20, 2025 – Jan 19, 2026) - Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM
– 3:15 PM (8-hour day shifts) - Hours per Week: 40 - No weekends or
holidays required - Potential for overtime - Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2210–$2370 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alaska - BLS, ACLS,
and PALS certifications (PALS required for multi-specialty center)
- Minimum 1 year of circulating nurse experience in the Operating
Room - Experience with multiple surgical specialties (Orthopedic,
Plastics, Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Pain
Management, Podiatry) - Ability to float to affiliated outpatient
surgery centers as needed Key Responsibilities for OR RN -
Circulate in a variety of outpatient surgical procedures,
supporting patient safety and comfort - Work collaboratively with
RNs and Surgical Technicians (1 RN and 1 Surgical Tech per room,
with relief teams) - Deliver patient-centered perioperative care in
compliance with facility policies and infection control standards -
Participate in onboarding, orientation, and adherence to unit
protocols - Scrub on select cases and/or provide conscious sedation
