Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Valid State License
(Pending License Accepted) Certifications: BLS, CRT Required
Must-Have: NICU/PICU Experience Required, Adult Experience with
Critical and Trauma Required Description: The position is for a
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics and Adults. The
shift schedule is 3 nights a week, working 12-hour shifts.
Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience are preferred.
It is essential to have NICU/PICU experience along with adult
critical and trauma care experience. BLS and CRT certifications are
required for this role. The facility provides typical respiratory
therapy services including non-invasive ventilation, high-flow
oxygen, nebulizer treatments, and more. The environment includes an
adult ICU, PICU, and level 3 NICU with various ventilator types in
use. Candidates should expect to work some weekends and float
within their scope as needed. Local candidates are not accepted;
candidates must reside 50 miles away from the facility. Time off
requests will be considered on an individual basis once an offer is
made. Travelers must be willing to work during two of the three
major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References
from supervisors within a comparable specialty or setting are
required. All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements
for the position.
