• Employment Type: TravelAlaska Regional Hospital Travel RN Operating Room (701) Shift: 6:30AM-7:00PM Start Date: asap Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Experience Needed: Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, Robotics. ****On call is required***** Unit Information: (Operating Room) Location: Alaska Regional Hospital Address: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage AK 99508 Floor: 2 nd floor Building: Main hospital building General Information Tell us about the unit(s): - Number of Beds - 11 ORs - Shift for this position - Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible) - Call Expectation - Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period) - Number of Staff - Varies depending on day - Type of staff: o Day Shift - Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs o Night Shift - One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup - Patient Ratios - 1:1 - Type of equipment - Variety of OR beds and equipment - EMR - Epic Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: OR RN Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. - Experience as circulator - Experience as Scrub - CNOR List typical procedures performed on unit(s): - Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General) - Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics Best personality Fit: - Positive outlook. Willing to work with team members. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: - Alaska RN license - BLS - ACLS Floating Area(s): - N/A Dress Code : - Scrubs provided by facility Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. - Weekends and On call(if any) - Weekend position needed.
