*JOB DESCRIPTION #HC1** Location: Bethel, AK* Job Title :
Clinical Social Worker* Duration : 13 weeks* Shift: Days*
Guaranteed Hours: 40hrs/week* Pay Rate: $50-$55/week
(Traveler)*Position Summary*Uses holistic approach in provision of
medical social services to YKDRH patients and their families to
assist in solving or ameliorating physical, social, emotional,
and/or environmental problems which retard or prevent patients from
attaining or retaining optimum health. Social services are provided
to people of all ages, from intra-uterine through elderly.*Position
Qualifications:** MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited
school of Social Work* One (1) year experience in hospital or
health-care setting.* State of Alaska license at Masters level
(LMSW) required or eligibility.* Valid Alaska State drivers license
is required.* Basic knowledge of computer use.* Prefer experience
working in cross-cultural setting with bilingual language skills in
English & Yup'ik.* Ability to read, comprehend & write at the
college level & effectively present information in one-on-one &
group situations to patients/clients, agencies, communities, &
other employees of the organization.* Ability to add, subtract,
multiply/divide in all units of measure, with whole numbers, common
fractions, & decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent; draw/interpret
bar graphs.* Should be able to perform supervisory tasks when
supervisor is away, work independently and in collaboration with
other social worker.Job Type: ContractPay: $50.00 - $55.00 per
hourExpected hours: 40 per weekExperience:* Clinical Social Work: 1
year (Preferred)License/Certification:* BLS Certification
