Thank you for your interest!Overview:Maple Springs Living is now hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time or part-time position to join a qualified in-house team of therapy professionals in Wasilla and Palmer, Alaska. The location is determined by the candidate's preference. Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates will also be considered.The PT hired for these skilled nursing facilities in will treat a well-balanced mix of patients within an SNF setting. Some prior exposure to the SNF setting is preferred through regular work experience or clinicals. New Grad Physical Therapists will be considered.Caseload:The Physical Therapist hired will work with a variety of diagnoses including wound care and amputations. The patient population is mostly geriatrics, but patients of all ages are treated. Full-time PTs should expect to treat 6-8 patients per day.Work Schedule:This full-time or part-time position includes working primarily Monday through Friday. Most PTs work 8 am - 4:30 pm, but the work schedule is flexible based on the availability of the candidate hired. Candidates interested in a part-time schedule must have a minimum of two days per week of availability. Within this role, you will enjoy an excellent work / life balance.Compensation and Benefits:Physical Therapists are paid a competitive salary based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive a rate in the ballpark of $50 per hour. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement plan. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time. Housing and transportation for the first 6 months of employment are negotiable based on availability.Job Requirements:Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).Eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Physical Therapist.New graduate PTs will be considered.Some prior work or clinical experience in the SNF setting is preferred.Full-time availability is preferred.
