COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Salary: MGMA Fair Market Value, no State Income Tax in Alaska
• Relocation assistance and Sign-on Bonus: $25,000

• The Alaska Permanent Fund - Pays Residents Oil & Gas RoyaltiesRESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Hospital-employed Clinical Role, work 8-5 pm with no weekends or after hours
  • Mostly outpatient setting
  • Oversee the Behavioral Health and Treatment Center
  • Behavioral Health Staff includes: 2 LCSWs, 2 Case Managers, and 2 Peer Supporters
  • Providing clinical supervision to staff and ensuring the coordination of patient services
  • Master Level Counselors are availableQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
    • Psych-Certified (PMHNP) is preferred with some experience
    • See Psychiatry patients, provide consultations, comfortable working independently, willing to teach medical staff
    • Occasionally will visit a mobile siteCOMMUNITY Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
