Description
Providence is calling a Chief Medical Physicist to Providence
Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of

Provides technical expertise, leadership, and professional
development to the radiation oncology physics and dosimetry teams.
Oversees all operational aspects of the various oncology radiation
modalities and institutes process improvements and technology
updates as needed. Acts as the primary liaison to the radiation
oncology physicians to deliver high quality care and excellent
patient experiences. Serves as the PAMC Radiation Safety Officer.
Follows all PAMC and regulatory body policies and procedures.
Ensures radiation complies with all safety and accreditation
standards (e.g. ACR, OSHA, Joint Commission) across PAMC.
Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week, 5 8-hour
shifts, occasional weekends.
