Full Time, 0.9 FTE, Night, 36 Hours Per Week.

$15,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Relocation assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Education:
Nursing degree-diploma required upon hire
All Registered Nurses without a Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) degree or higher must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire. RNs with 20 years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a BSN required
Bachelor's of Nursing degree (BSN) preferred

Experience:
12 months acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency at our Alaska Medical Center required.

Certifications - Licensure:
Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multistate license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers upon hirerequired.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 30 days of hirerequired.
Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hirerequired.
National Certification in area of specialtypreferred.

Special Skills:
Must be able to utilize independent decision-making skills in a wide variety of situations.
Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities.
Personal computer skills required.
Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
