Description Mental Health Specialist Providence Crisis Recovery
Center The Mental Health Specialist works with other members of
staff to provide patient care through assisting the nursing and
clinical staff in unit functions including documentation, clerical
and admitting support, physical care, and therapeutic interventions
with patients. Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within ninety (90) days
of hire
- Knowledge of mental health issues, both theory and practice;
crisis intervention techniques; assessment techniques;
understanding of family systems dynamics; and departmental policies
and procedures
