Description Providence is calling a RN Patient Flow Coordinator
(Patient Care Res Svcs, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) to
Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a

employment. Relocation assistance for eligible candidates In this
position you will have the following responsibilities:
- In real time, expedite, prioritize, synchronize and mediate
clinical issues, remove barriers to discharge and address delays in
care
- Triage alerts and situational awareness via investigation per
the electronic medical record and additional clinical
resources
- Manage deviations from patient care pathways; resolve
bottlenecks, variation in service level agreements, optimize
communication and prioritization with support services and a
variety of clinical departments
- Provide leadership and work with SOC colleagues to address
patient flow issues
- Work collaboratively with all members of the Discharge
Team
- Collaborate with SOC operations and all other pertinent
departments to identify process improvement strategies, reduce
patient length of stay (LOS), trend delays, support quality
initiatives and enhance patient safety
- Assist with feedback mechanisms to inform operational team
members, mitigate over capacity situations, and manage surge with
patient volumes Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Registered Nurse License with the State of Alaska
- 3 years clinical experience with two years of progressively
responsible management or supervisory experience in acute-care
facility Preferred qualifications for this position include:
