Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) 0.0
FTE, Days at Providence Alaska Medical Center The Occupational
Therapy Assistant evaluates residents occupational therapy needs
using standardized tests, which require no subjective
interpretation, and provides data to the Occupational Therapist for
evaluating and interpreting assessments. The Occupational Therapy
Assistant recommends treatment plans and implements therapy under
direction of an Occupational Therapist and prescribed by a
physician licensed in the state of Alaska. Required
qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Program in Occupational Therapy
Assistant
- Must be nationally certified by NBCOT and licensed in the State
of Alaska as a COTA
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association upon
hire or the ability to accomplish within thirty (30) days of hire

- One (1) year clinical experience with physical disabilities Our
