Job Description:
Pay Rate
$3,312 weekly
Shifts: 12 hours day
Department/Unit - Wound Care
The job requires knowledge of a competency in performing nursing
care procedures, assessments, treatments, and techniques utilized
within a physician office or clinic setting.
Renders professional nursing services in support of medical care
directed by the provider.
Works closely with or may lead other professional and ancillary
personnel in providing total nursing care to patients.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. OP Clinic Setting
within Hospital
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Patients seen from 8a-430 in
clinic setting.
Foot and nail care experience
Experience with EPIC charting
Registered Nurse single state (AK) or multi-state license status
must be currently active
Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute hospital
Essentinal Job Function:
Assessment: Provides an accurate, holistic assessment on assigned
patients to determine appropriate health care needs and establishes
patient care priorities based on needs of patients of all ages.
Planning: Utilizes assessment data to develop and maintain a
holistic, on-going nursing plan of care.
Implementation: Administers therapeutic measures, consistent with
professional standards in a safe, timely and effective manner and
carries out appropriate nursing interventions.
Evaluation: Interprets patient and diagnostic data on an on-going
basis to determine appropriate nursing actions.
Professionalism: Establishes a work environment which facilitates
the accomplishment of patient care goals in an organized manner.
All job functions and communications are carried out in a
cooperative manner encouraging a team spirit in and among
departments.
