Job Description:

ICU Nurses must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening medical conditions. ICU Nurses must have the ability to make immediate and accurate decisions while staying composed during unforeseen, traumatic events.Responsibilities:ICU Nurses duties consist of:

Evaluating the patient's progress.
Following the correct process if the patient's condition changes.
Assisting medical staff with procedures.
Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly while caring for patients.
Dispensing needed medication in a fast moving, high stress environment.
Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse within the past two years.
- Current RN License in good standing.
- Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
