Description:$2,500 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.Licensed Practical Nurse Primary Care - LTC Nursing at Seward Medical CenterThe Primary Care Nurse (PCN) is in charge of care for a specific group of elders, to include supervision of team of CNA. Nursing services delivered by the CNAs are supervised by and directly accountable to the Manager LTC Nursing, and DON through the licensed nurses in the lodges. The PCN coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and providers. The PCN serves as the point of contact for elder information.Qualifications:Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Current Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire from one of the following governing body
• American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider)
• American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider)
• Military Training Network (MTN) - (Healthcare Provider)Preferred qualifications:
  • 6 months nursing experience in a health care facility
