Description:Quality Improvement Program Manager Registered Nurse
RNProvides clinical program management leadership for the Alaska
Region Quality & Regulatory Services using various methods to
identify and implement innovative, breakthrough strategies across
institutional and functional boundaries that result in significant
and documented improvement in health care and service delivery.
Provides credible information to senior leadership from internal
performance data, research, and external benchmarking to allow them
to make informed critical decisions. Is accountable for multiple
large, diverse and complex clinical improvement programs and
projects, obtaining measurable strategic objectives and goals.The
RN Quality Improvement Program Manager integrates the complex
corporate political landscapes and local cultures into effective
change management strategies. Incorporates understanding of the
business of healthcare delivery to include the financial
implication of managed clinical programs. Seeks perspective on
issues from outside the organization to better inform teams and
leaders. Maintains current knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC),
the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and State and
Federal rules in relationship to managed projects and programs.This
position is based in Anchorage. Travel within Providence Alaska
Region may be required. Some remote work is
possible.Qualifications:Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current Alaska RN License
- Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) to be
obtained within 3 years of hire
- Three (3) years experience in Quality Improvement, healthcare
administration or clinical field
- Three (3) years acute care experiencePreferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Healthcare related discipline
