A Neonatal Registered Nurse(RN) who renders individualized
comprehensive nursing care to meet Neonatalpatients physical,
psychological, spiritual, social, cultural and educationalneeds.
The Neonatal RN provides the bestpossible preventative, supportive,
and rehabilitative nursing care to meet theneeds of Neonatal
patients and family basedupon the nursing process and in accordance
with hospital policy and procedure; coordinat es functions with
physicians and other departmentsof the hospital in a spirit that
fosters positive working relationships.

for routine care, babies exhibiting withdrawal from mothers with

POSITION(MINIMUM) REQUIREMENT CHECKLIST

Knowledge ofState of Alaska law, Nurse Practice Act, Federal/CMS
regulations and Joint Commission standards
Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools:
2 years experience acute carework history preferred.
