Job Description:

Due to a physician shortage in Alaska, Medical Doctor Associates is working with a client to provide Pediatric Neurology vacation coverage. The client is looking for coverage to begin as soon as credentialing is completed (approximately 3 months) and is ongoing; minimum of one week availability at a time, preferably over the course of several months, multiple weeks is preferred. The clinic schedule is 8:30AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday with an average of 7-8 patients per day in the clinic; average of 2-3 inpatients per day for rounding; telephone on call only for AK region. Candidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency completion) in Neurology with Pediatric experience; hold an active Alaska medical license, Federal DEA, current BLS certification. MDA will arrange your travel and lodging along with your A++ malpractice insurance.
