Job Description:

Bristol Industries, LLC is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Anchorage, AK. The Sr. Finance Manager is primarily responsible for strategic and financial planning, reporting and variance analysis for all of the Bristol Alliance companies. Major Responsibilities 1. Drive and coordinate annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting processes to deliver predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps and timely identification and implementation of corrective action. 2. Cash Forecasting and Management 3. Financial Planning and Analysis: monthly WIP analysis, budgeting and reporting on the operating condition of the company, cash flow management, overhead monitoring, analysis and cost containment. -------- a. Improve efficiency and reporting accuracy through process improvement across departments -------- b. Partner with operational departments to assist in understanding key drivers and influence business decisions to improve revenue growth and profitability -------- c. Report, analyze, and monitor trends of key operational and financial performance indicators -------- d. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives 4. Communication of key financial and performance metrics, strategic plan and process improvements to management team and employees. 5. Contribute in preparation of presentations to Senior Management Team and the Board of Directors. 6. Management of financial analysis staff and consultants. Education Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management. MBA preferred. Year for year experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Experience Minimum of ten years experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Management. Minimum of five years experience in a senior level position. Special Requirements/Certifications Minimum of 10 years conducting financial analysis. Experience presenting complex operational and financial data to employees, management, customers and Board of Directors. At least 5 years of experience in managing others. Must have experience in developing strategic and business plans. Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills. Proven organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, compile statistics, and prepare reports, graphs, tables, and charts. Excellent written, oral and computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Access and Adobe. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn new systems/software as necessary. Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, and be very detail oriented. Ability to prioritize and organize, work well under stress in a fast-paced environment. Ability to create technical documents and reports in a manner which is clear and easy to follow. Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines. Ability to be flexible and adapt to constant change. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with project and management staff. Maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective interactions and communications with co-workers, customers, and management. Preferred Knowledge or Skills: Experience working for federal contractors and companies with construction and/or environmental experience. Physical Requirements Light physical workload. Employee must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading. Specific physical requirements include, but are not limited to, walking, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. The worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.
