and Water Group Leader, you will have a chance to be a leader in
improving the water and wastewater infrastructure across our state.
As a key member of our team, you'll have a chance to engage in
challenging and engaging water projects - leading all aspects of
projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept
stage through detailed design, construction services, and
commissioning. You will assist with business development, including
strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating
contracts to grow our business. You will also establish and
maintain strong client relationships by communicating with clients
on technical design topics and project schedule/budget/scope to
develop long term strategy for continued market success. You will
be responsible for leading project teams and communicating between
diverse design disciplines for the delivery of designs and related
studies. Join our team and help us lay the foundation for our
growth in these markets.In addition to project management, you will
be a critical member of the Anchorage Water Leadership team. You'll
work closely with other Department and Group Leaders and Client
Account Managers to provide guidance and leadership within the
water group. You'll be called upon to use your inspirational
leadership skills to provide mentoring and coaching to Water Group
staff aligned to you, including development of annual priorities,
career goals, and performance reviews. You'll also be responsible
for promoting inclusion and diversity within the office and the
Water Team, working to ensure that all staff are given meaningful
and equitable opportunities to progress their careers within
Jacobs. This is an opportunity to provide leadership and support
staff as part of our Anchorage, Alaska and broader Northwest Water
team.In this role you'll:---Delivering projects across Alaska,
including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater
treatment, and planning.---Providing leadership and coordination to
multi-discipline delivery teams.---Managing and/or leading projects
in accordance with the contract requirements and Jacobs' business
processes, driving profitability and building new business
opportunities.---Supporting the development of strategies and
tactics related to key client programs, projects and overall
portfolios.---Collaborating with cross business market teams to
build delivery teams and complete projects and programs.---Working
with business development and sales staff in their efforts to
position for new opportunities and/or the preparation of
proposals.---Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety, and
inclusion and diversity---Partner with the operations and sales
leadership team to grow and maintain sustainable work
pipelines---Develop strategy for hiring and group growth in the
Alaska market and act as the hiring manager---Coach, develop, and
mentor staff to deliver superior results collectively and
individually---Build team culture in concert with overall
performance unit and company goals and strategyWe value

to deliver their best work.Here's what you'll need---Bachelor's
degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental or Mechanical
preferred)---Minimum 10 years in the industry with directly
applicable project management experience---Professional Engineer
license (P.E.) (or ability to obtain within 1 year)---Proven
experience managing and designing small to large water planning and
infrastructure projects---Demonstrated aptitude, ability, and
capacity to build and support a team---Strong communication,
planning, and organizational skills---Ability to help develop other
front-line leaders as part of succession planningIdeally, here's

certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or
demonstrated commensurate project management experience and

for this position is $140,700.00 to $246,300.00. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant
