  • The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for providing the strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation, and support of IT systems and programs.
  • Collaborates with leadership to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and can respond with agility to changing business priorities.
  • Oversees seven indirect reports, as well as two Vice Presidents who directly report to this position.
  • The CIO develops and controls annual operating and capital expenditure budget for IT to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented leader with integrity that can develop and communicate an IT vision that aligns to the business strategy.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills. Expertise in budget planning and financial management. Cerner or Epic experience needed.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.The Organization
    • Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is a Joint Commission accredited, non-profit Tribal health organization providing primary care, pharmacy services, physical therapy, surgery centers, and multi-specialty clinics to more than 180,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people of the state.
    • ANTHC is the largest, most comprehensive Tribal health organization in the country, employing more than 3,000 people and driven by the mission of "providing the highest quality health services in partnership with our people and the Alaska Tribal Health System."
