Manager Service Operations Center - Patient Care Res Svcs Anchorage , Alaska ReqID: 137286 Schedule: Full time Shift: DayPlease be advised that our application system will be unavailable on November 18 from 7 - 11 p.m. PST as we implement enhancements.Under the general direction of the Service Operations Center Director, the Manager coordinates available resources to efficiently and effectively provide professional services within the Service Operations and Transfer Center with a quality consistent with nursing standards and at a cost compatible with the fiscal and other resources of PAMC. May oversee RNs working in non-nursing areas. Will establish a relationship with the inpatient services serving as the nursing liaison for the Transfer Center and patient flow. Delegates' authority as appropriate. Must have a professional commitment to growth, be creative and innovative and demonstrate competency in interpersonal communication, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills. In addition, the Manager will assist the Director in planning, implementing and monitoring hospital wide initiatives to ensure objectives are met and sustained.Required qualifications:Graduate of an accredited nursing school or programBachelor's Degree in Nursing3 years clinical experience as staff nurse in comparable acute care unit and facilityPreferred qualifications:Oncology specialty certification or advanced certification in specialty area upon hire3 years Health care management experienceOur best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally and achieving financial security.
