DescriptionThe Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Director of Revenue Cycle is responsible for end to end management of people, processes and systems supporting Southcentral Foundation's patient service revenue. Provide leadership through both line and matrix organizational structures supporting the revenue cycle. Provide leadership and subject matter expertise related to the development of a compliant, comprehensive revenue cycle across all Southcentral Foundation health care programs or departments. Work with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop a collaborative strategy as well as infrastructure to operationalize the strategy. Manage and maintain priority issues for escalation to the Vice President of Finance, Finance Department management, managers of clinical departments which are part of Southcentral Foundations revenue cycle, Compliance management and other key stakeholders. Build and maintain a high-performance team achieving operational excellence in key performance metrics and will optimize patient service revenues assuring compliance with internal policies and State and Federal regulations.SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:Minimum Qualifications: -

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics and/or Accounting or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
  • Five (5) years of healthcare patient financial services management experience with experience analyzing health care and revenue metrics and negotiating payment agreements with government, managed care organization, preferred provider, and/or commercial payers.Additional Qualifications for Director of Revenue Strategy II: Meets all requirements of Director of Revenue Strategy I in addition to the following:
    • Demonstrated proficiency at the Director I level at SCF.Employee Health Requirements:Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment.
