Job Description:
Job DescriptionASRC Communications is seeking a dynamic
self-starter with experience in Communications Security (COMSEC)
discipline to support the PACAF Regional Support Center mission at
Eareckson Air Station on Shemya Island. The COMSEC Specialistshall
implement and operate an NSA COMSEC account and support ASRCC and
Missile Defense Agency (MDA) users with COMSEC material. The COMSEC
specialist shall provide subject matter expertise for COMSEC
processes and regulations. The COMSEC Specialist shall implement
and support all necessary COMSEC processes to meet national policy
and procedures by performing the following COMSEC related

Local Elements and KOA'sLocal Element (LE) TrainingImplement and
Operate Distributed InfoSec Accounting System (DIAS) and Key

PracticesRequirementsRequirementsApplicant must possess knowledge
of, and experience in, the COMSEC discipline and have the skills
and abilities to enable successful accomplishment of the contract's
assigned JSSO mission.Applicant must have knowledge and an
understanding of security concepts, principles, and practices
necessary to review, analyze, and resolve complex issues.Applicant
must possess the skills in planning, developing, implementing, and
evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and
improve the overall security program; as well as the ability to
establish effective professional working relationships with
coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working
environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.This
position requires a working knowledge of the US Government Security
Programs, with special emphasis on the understanding of various
phases of security programs and implementation.Applicant must be
able to make complete and correct security determinations within
the realm of assigned responsibility and specialty.Use the Key
Management Infrastructure (KMI) system to manage cryptographic
keys.Provide training and COMSEC oversight of personnel at local
and remote as it relates to COMSEC and CCI policies and procedures
outlined in the COMSEC Account user Standard Operations Procedures
(SOP).Support COMSEC related investigation and comply with security
procedures; investigate, prepare, and submit COMSEC incident report
to multiple cognizant security authorities.Support preparation for
all COMSEC inspections, audits, and Staff Assistance Visits.Conduct
semi-annual physical inventory of all COMSEC material, ensuring
continuous NSA requirements.Maintain up-to-date records and the
submission of required accounting reports.Perform initial and
refresher COMSEC and Crypto briefings and provide employee training
on processes and procedures.Must have current active SECRET
clearance.Travel to Maryland twice yearly, plus travel to Shemya
Island one week per quarter.Education/Experience:Applicant must
have 4 years of COMSEC experienceRequires IAEC2112 Certification
from NSA, and Key Management Infrastructure Training.**COVID-19
